I lead businesses and build software to help me do the job.
I lead five operating units in aerospace and defense. The systems here grew out of problems I run into in that work: recovering the context behind a decision, tracking commitments, and sorting through information. Others grew from personal interests in wine and reading.
Before industry, I served 26 years in the Air Force, including combat aviation, flight test, and command of the Arnold Engineering Development Complex. More about my background.
